Overview of District
    The Eastern York School District is located in east central York County, Pennsylvania, overlooking the Susquehanna River, encompassing nearly 54 square miles. The district is comprised of 6 municipalities: East Prospect Borough, Hallam Borough, Hellam Township, Lower Windsor Township, Yorkana Borough, and Wrightsville Borough.

Our mission is to Educate, Prepare, and Motivate each student
to Dream, to Learn and to Achieve throughout life.

NOTICE:
Effective, November 3, 2008, we have changed the traffic patterns at the Middle School. The changes are as follows: Between the hours of 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM, all traffic at the rear of middle school will be one way coming in from Almoney Road. This will require all student drop off and pick ups to enter from Almoney Road and exit onto Cool Creek Road. Also, no u-turns will be allowed at the student drop off area.

The Old Eastern York High School Gymnasium Floor has been salvaged and cut into various size pieces to be distributed on a first come first serve basis to the public.  Each member of the public will be limited to three (3) pieces. Each district school building and the administration building will have pieces of the floor for distribution.   The public may come to any building during normal business hours to receive a piece of the flooring.  The district offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Notice to parents: educational trips are now limited to 5 total days for a school year.
After the 5 days has elapsed any additional days missed due to travel will be considered unexcused.
Trip request forms must be received at least two weeks prior to the student traveling.
