Bob Heiser graduated from Eastern in 1964. He is married to Kathy Heiser (40+ yrs.) and has two sons. Following high school he went to college at Penn State York to receive a degree in Engineering. In 1979, Bob was hired as an engineer and is in his 31st year with General Dynamics in Red Lion.

Bob became involved in coaching youth basketball in the arly 1980's. In 1993, he was hired as the JH JV girls’ coach at Eastern. In 1995, Bob was promoted to the JV position. Head coach Jerry Bastas retired in 2000 and Bob was hired as head varsity girls’ coach at Eastern High School.

In 9 seasons at the varsity level, he has compiled a 168 - 79 record. He holds a career 16 - 8 record in District III playoff competition. In the 2006-07 campaign his team won their first ever PIAA District III AAA Championship.
