French I is offered to all students who have the
desire to pursue the study of French language and culture. Primary attention is directed
toward the acquisition of basic vocabulary and a working knowledge of basic
French grammar. 1 credit - 6 periods/cycle.

French II is offered to students who wish to continue
to study French. Effort is made to gain greater knowledge of understanding,

study of speaking, reading, and writing French. In addition, the culture of

12 who wish to pursue the study of a worldlanguage. Primary attention is directed

to increase their knowledge of the German language and culture. This course
expands speaking, reading, writing and comprehension skills to a broader
range of topics and situations. 1 credit - 6 periods/cycle.

German II)
German III is offered to students who want to
develop a thorough knowledge of German language and culture. This course
explores speaking topics and situations in greater detail, and expands on speaking,
listening, writing and reading skills. After its successful completion, students
will be able to cope with everyday situations in an all German environment.
