Enrollment Procedure

Do you have neighbors who just moved into town and are not aware that they should register their school age children as soon as possible with Mrs. Donalyn Bahn? Remind them to bring proof of immunization and a birth certificate to the school. For new enrollments in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 a copy of the current report card and a record of previous course credits is needed before a schedule can be developed. All new students entering kindergarten through twelfth grade can register with Mrs Bahn at the Administration Center located at Wrightsville Elementary School.

Due to the effect that student enrollment has on class size, teacher load, and budget, the District urges parents to register their children immediately. Students can be registered Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the Administrative Offices. NOTE: Proof of residency required.

Each year, prior to the start of school, an orientation program is held in each of the three elementary building for parents of prospective students. The program is designed to inform parents of what will be expected of their child as a student, to explain the function of the program, and to give parents the opportunity to meet the principal and tour the building. The principal will answer any questions parents may have concerning the program of studies.

The middle school will host a student orientation for students in grades 6, 7, and 8.

Kindergarten Registration

Registration and screening for all prospective kindergarten pupils who will attend school in the Eastern York School District next term will be held during April in the three elementary buildings. Please call the school to arrange an appointment for your child. To register a child for school, the parent must bring the following information or documents:

Birth Certificate
Doctors' immunization records as indicated in the section about immunization.
Any medical records which should be included on the child's health record.
