What is Dollars for Scholars?
Help for students through a program of Community based scholarships through the mobilization of human and financial resources.
How can I help the Dollars for Scholars Program?
The Dollars for Scholars Program is a proven vehicle for raising funds through volunteerism and contributions. Help support this program by volunteering your time, your ideas and through contributions to this serviceable organization.
These are just a few ideas to help you to establish some tax-free or
charitable ways to help students at Eastern and make a commitment to a
legacy of education.
Why Support Dollars for Scholars?
Dollars for Scholars is led by a board of Community Volunteers; its purpose is to raise funds and distribute scholarships to local students who wish to continue their education and enhance their lives. These students become eligible for matching Dollars for Scholars grants from many colleges and national scholarship programs targeted for deserving students.
Dollars for Scholars is a program of Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation
of America (CSFA) providing community volunteers with the tools and support
to create, develop, and sustain legally constituted community-based scholarship
foundations. Through the mobilization of local human and financial resources,
each Dollars for Scholars chapter strives to raise and manage funds for
local scholarships and provide academic support for local students.
Who is CSFA?
Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation of America is a national, nonprofit, educational support and student aid organization. CSFA’s mission is to expand access to educational opportunities by involving and assisting the private sector in the support of students and education.
